Well shit. Statements like:
"The 2011 Jeep Wrangler is like a lumberjack (and that’s okay). It’s at home in the woods, powerfully making its way through rough terrain, with the beefy construction to get the job done. Back in civilization, however, the Wrangler’s off-road tool box is about as useful as a lumberjack’s axe would be in Manhattan. The Wrangler excels at off-road pursuits, but reviewers say it’s hard to live with every day."
or
"The Wrangler’s construction is simply too rugged, its interior too small and its fuel economy too low for it to make sense for most buyers."
...coupled with the other crap vehicles jeep is building these days make it easy to imagine what kind of wussy, independent suspension, unibody POS with "wrangler" slapped on the side will be offered up for sale when the JK run is over in a few years. Maybe it will even be a hybrid...

I'm offended. They called the Wrangler an SUV. It's a Jeep. It's not an SUV. SUVs are for soccer moms. The only Jeeps that should be confused with SUVs are the ones where people have installed 20" wheels with 33s, and other ugly crap. But that's not what they tested.

Im pretty sure by offroading they meant gravel driveway...that being said the Ford Expedition is terrible on and offroad I would never recommend anybody buy one or its twin the Lincoln Navigator.
If you are offering general consumer advice then the Wrangler probably should be low on the list...its just not a good fit for 99% of buyers. I don't care about these lists because people who can actually use and enjoy a wrangler aren't likely cross shopping the explorer or a new suzuki.
The only vehicles with any real offroad capability on the list are the Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Merc G and Land Rover LR4...none are near the top of the list
