WOW, sway bar disconnected?
i was surfing youtube and found this clip,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMJF3...eature=related
pretty cool but my question is, did he have to disconnect his sway bar to accomplish this. i only wonder because i'd like to know if i could get that much flex without tipping with my X, which has no disconnects (yet) but a 2.5"lift.

That is not flexing at all actually. Notice how level the axle is compared to the body.
I just googled and am using this as an example. See how the body/frame is almost level, while the axle is at a much different angle. Watch the video again, axle is level with the body. His rig is, well extremely unstable in my book..

That's not flexing... that's stupid. A better video would be the one where he flips his Jeep over. Any Jeep can do what this one did but why would you do that? it isn't showing any kind of vehicle capability or driver skill.

Most vehicles on the road today won't do that.
So yes, it shows some kind of vehicle capability.

What others have said about flex--that really isn't any. Of course, you don't require disconnects in order to disconnect your front sway bar. Just get under there with a few tools and manually disconnect the front antisway bar and tie it up out of the way. The after-market parts are called "quick disconnects" because they make it so you can do it without tools, that's all.

The Jeep was pulled up with the LF wheel.
The rear wheels weren't in a position to push the LF wheel up that cylinder.
