Would like some opinions.....
I did my research, and most people seem to agree that Royal Purple in the differentials is acceptable.
I went with ARB covers, and 75w 90 in the front, 75w 140 in the rear.
Now I stumble accross more than one post where some feel that synthetic may have been the cause for seal leaks.
I truely thought I was doing the best I could for my Jeep by giving it the "Royal " treatment, but now I have concerns that
perhaps this is not the case.
My mileage is just around 25,000 kms, so I'm hoping that the switch to synthetic in the front has been done at an early
enough stage in the seal life to not cause premature failure. I'm pretty sure the rears had synthetic, as I have the tow package.
I guess I'm just hoping to get some reassurance that 75w 90 is ok.
I would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply ECHO. Yes I noticed my front cover was oozing since I got it too.
When you bring it to the attention of the dealer, it's like the imaginary oozing they felt I complained about with the tranny lines too! Until the recall forced them to see it as well.
Now I'm beginning to feel " The Clunk " in my steering.
