Even though I still have a foot of snow in my yard (as of 7 am 4-6-11), I swapped out my hard top for my Trek Top last Saturday. I took the hard top off in the morning and drove around all day enjoying the sun. I'm pretty sure it didn't get to 58 that day.

I'm definitely looking for the 60's this weekend!

P.S. Any of you other MN folks thinking about wheeling in the next month or so? I've heard and read about Gilbert, but haven't been up there.

 

I feel bad for y'all up north. It's been in the 80's here for quite a while now, with the exception of one or two days. Top is off constantly.



My only complaint about leaving my top off is that it means we're not getting any rain. We've gotten maybe two inches in the last two and a half months and are in a moderate to severe drought right now.

 

LOL. I havent put my soft top on since late Feb. I love spring too!! mid 70's maybe 80's right now! I love It!

 

 

I have been really wanting to try Gilbert out! I have been on the site at least 100 times. Unfortunately I broke my leg and ankle and I am still on crutches. Hit 60 today in Cottage Grove and people thought I was nuts at the gas station hopping on one leg putting the top down

 

Let me know when your leg is 'out of the shop'. I'm a complete newb to wheeling, but I'm dying to give my jeep a workout.

 

There was a record snow fall here (30 cm) on April 2/ 11.
