Im back and forth from copper three times a week starting middle of October. It does the works on the top, but Im coming up on five years with this top.
This summer Im going trektop, so this winter Im not too concerned.
Last week i made sure to get the zippers all cleaned up and finally put the rear window back in. Now the tops on till April. Sad day

I forgot about the zippers, that's right.
I'm not telling you it's okay-- I don't garage my JK..snow gets on the top and no bows. I leave it up there for asshat drivers.

Another Alaska soft topper here too. I don't have a garage either. Jeep stays out all winter in snow and sub, SUB, zero weather. I rarely sweep off the top.....maybe once in awhile if it warms up and the snow is a little heavier. I'd be more worried about cracking a very frozen top with a broom than, worry about a little extra weight from very light snow. It blows off easily anyway as soon as you get going. Main thing is to keep the zippers clean. Jeep's gone through 4 winters now and no problems.
Oh btw....it can't hurt to condition the soft top with 303 before winter. It's good stuff...
