Windshield light bar on a DD?
I'm about to put a RR light bar with 5 KC slimlites on my DD. Is this a bad idea?
I commute on the highway and have a soft top. Should I expect a lot more noise? or a huge drop in mpg?

you will notice more wind noise once you install it, but after a little while you wont notice it anymore... btw echo im very skeptical that you'd loose any mpg, do you or are you just kidding

basically if you want to make your jeep look cool your gonna have to sacrife mpg one way or another, and the light bar definitely does look awesome, but if you are really concerned about mpg then lights on the bumper and windshield work just as well.

I have the rugged ridge light bar and it helps a lot with noise. Well worth it. I have 5 Hella 500FFs on it and going about 40 or 50 and higher the middle one whistles. But only with the top off. And its not even that bad because the radio covers it up

Yeah I actually like yours a lot and was considering it because it would help with wind noise. But... I'm 6'5" and I can barely see out the windshield as it is. Haha so I was worried it wouldn't be good for me as a DD. I could be wrong though.
