I just got my windshield replaced and the one they gave me has the blue tint on top. I have never seen a jk with this. I was just wondering is this is a common thing or I'm a rare case. On the other hand I love it, blocks the sun a little and looks nice.

 

Congrats on your very first top blue tint windshield!! Never seen one. Will it show up on pix?

I haven't seen a too blue windshield since my 1977 trans am.

 

A lot of replpacement windshields have the strip on top. The last 2 windshields I got replaced had some sort of tinting in the top 4-6 inches. I have not replaced the jeeps windshield yet. (knock on wood)

 

Dude! I was going to post the same thing. Had one of them on my '74 & '76 Pontiac! Now that's old school style.
