Default Winch and Lift Kit Ideas

Hey, so I am soon going to invest in the Rugged Ridge Winch Mount Modular XHD Front Bumper with the Stinger Hoop and 3/4" D-Ring Pair. I really want to find a good affordable but quality winch to aim for in the future as well as an affordable but quality 1"-2" lift kit. ANY IDEAS would be very helpful. Thanks!

Tough question

Depends on what you are looking for and what 'affordable' means for a price range.

I plan to offroad on a regular basis, so i was looking for something that i could start with (more affordable) but upgrade in a modular way. I went with a RE 3.5" standard kit for about $580. This is a nice lift to start with and wont cost me alot to add upgrades to. The way I look at it, If i spend 2-300 now on a lift i wont be happy with ill end up spending the 500-600 anyway later. Why not get this one and be able to add to it. I know its the height I want to start with.

As for the winch, well that depends as well. I went all out on this one ans spent 1100$ on a warn powerplant with the compressor. I wanted one with a built in compressor anyway as I have found these extremly useful offroad. The winch itself, cant say i used one in the past much but when you need it, YOU NEED IT.

So its a function of $$ and what you want it for.

Hey well, thanks for responding, yeah I definitely agree with you. I just wanted to see what people might suggest as apposed to reading what the seller says about it. I always like to go with things that people have talked about or own so I know that someone actually liked it and thought it worthy enough to share. I'll keep my eye out, I don't plan on the lift/winch until at least the summer, the bumper will set me back a good $675 and seen as I just spent $575 on my Bestop Trektop I plan on taking it slow. Anyways, thanks for the advise.
