Any mod could be reason for a dealer to give you a hassle where you have to bring out the Magnuson-Moss Act. My dealer is pretty mod friendly, but not friendly toward programmers. YMMV

Basically, if you make a mod to your Jeep, and the Dealer says your mod broke something and they say they won’t warranty it, then they are supposed to prove that your mod broke it.

I would say 99% of dealers are not friendly towards programmers and chips. I know all the dealers I have dealt with I ask how they feel about chips and programmers to get a feeler. 100% of the don't like them and would void my power-train if they found one on my vehicle.
Superchips is very easy to return to stock before you take it in. It takes like 2-4 minutes to tune back to stock . I had the Superchips while still on warranty and my dealership never found any trace of the programmer after I returned to stock.
