Default Will mopar offer steeper gears?

Will mopar offer a 5.13 or steeper and back it with a warranty? Have they ever offered gears with other versions of the wrangler?

The federal rules on MPG would never allow Jeep to do this.

They never have, nor do I expect them to. If anything they went the other way for 2008, replacing the 4.10's with 3.73s in all but the Rubicon.

x2... They may try and blame it for some absurd reason... but they'd have to know that you changed gearing... and most of those guys aren't going to go to that trouble nor think about it.

They never have in Jeeps.....but take a 1963 Plymouth Max Wedge car for example...........They were available with BOTH 5.13 gears AND 13.5:1 compression from the factory. Now.....I ain't sure about that warranty thing..........

It would only affect it on the axles, though not the overall Jeep warranty.
