My wife chose the jeep, and the bag gets to drive it every day. I get the after hours fun though. And thats what matters, as I have a work truck.
Good luck with the Kia, supposed to be nice cars.

Wife and I traded in our Magnum last year for a 2010 Unlimited Rubicon. She was apprehensive, but she knew I really wanted one, so we got it.
She drives it more than I do, (Its our DD) as I have a company van for work. But she really learned to appreciate it when we had a couple days of bad weather in the winter that the Jeep handled like the snow wasn't even there.
We also took it out on a drive recently. No top, no doors. Her grin was as big as mine!
There were some compromises to make, of course. Some interior mods for the door handles, and a tray on the dash to put her cellphone and sunglasses, and the Rubicon rock rails were replaced initially by sidesteps, and by the Smittybuilt SRC side armor/rails that she can use as a step.
She's been eyeing the Bushwhacker fenders too... She likes some of the mods.. Her only true request, is that the Jeep still be driveable for Monday!

This thread is funny!
When I got my Jeep I stopped driving the BMW. I loved driving my Jeep so much that I bought my hubby his own just because I felt he needed one.
You need to just sit her down and calmly say "Not Happening". If that doesn't work, just say "Not EVER happening honey and if you don't like it - you can suck it up cupcake and drive your Acura!"

lmaooo, that is a real good one!
I gotta say with all the quirks, I love my 07!! It is the most fun thing ever with the doors and roof off driving on the beach. ITs also fun when you go snowboarding, get 2 feet of powder while you are at the mountain, and when you get to your vehicle when its time to go, the snow cat has plowed everyone in... Except for me
