I heard the new jeep was going to get up cook breakfast in the morning, clean the house and do the grocery shopping. There's even a chance of it being able to mow the yard on Wednesdays....yes, I said Wednesday. Within it's first week on the market it's also supposed to solve the Libyan crisis, end world hunger and possibly lower oil prices down to .50 cents a barrell. Unconfirmed reports have the new jeep enlisting in the Marines, being outfitted as a secret weapon and voting republican.
All this is unconfirmed, but I'm trading up.

Sounds like a plan...hopefully this will pull the hemi price down to earth a little bit, or maybe a 3.6 conversion if the 3.6 lives up to the hype. For now the 3.8 gets me up to and in fact is capable of exceeding the speed limit. If you want a sports car...why buy a Jeep? I like plugging down the highway at my own speed, never yet been passed by a smart car (how are the smart cars doing in the US these days.....) maybe not so smart

The engine is a piece of shit. My '07 Was lifted with '35s. I bought it in ny and it was Like driving a moped when u were going up hills. Then I moved to Florida and there were no hills but wind. The jeep couldnt exceed the 70ph speed limit. I was getting smoked by smart cars. If anybody is looking at getting a jeep then wait for a 2012. Believe me it will be worth the wait.
If you put 3.21 gears in a Pentagram (star) JK, you probably will have the same bad performance. I love my '07 and it is plenty quick with the proper gearing.
