Default Why would u buy a 2011 or older?

The engine is a piece of shit. My '07 Was lifted with '35s. I bought it in ny and it was Like driving a moped when u were going up hills. Then I moved to Florida and there were no hills but wind. The jeep couldnt exceed the 70ph speed limit. I was getting smoked by smart cars. If anybody is looking at getting a jeep then wait for a 2012. Believe me it will be worth the wait.

Probably worth the wait at this point, but you can do always beef up the 3.8 a little, re-gear...or simply turn off OD.

You may be right, but I'd be careful with the guarantees on the new engine. it is unproven, would not take much to be better than current, but we still don't know

I'm sure as heck not trading in or selling my current jeep. The first year or so the 2012 is out, it will have bugs I don't wanna deal with. Just a thought.

It will still be cheaper to hemi swap and supercharge than buy a new Jeep. So I'll pass on the 2012.

Edit: You also won't have to deal with that new god awful interior.

The engine is already out in the GC...

The 2012 Jeep with the Pentastar will actually be a second year model.
