Why do we see so many used Jet Stage ! & 2 chips for sale?

Default Why do we see so many used Jet Stage ! & 2 chips for sale?
So why do we see so many Jet Stage 1 & 2 chips for sale? If they are so good why are the dime a dozen for sale used?.....

I would assume because the "bang" doesnt match the "buck"

from what I can tell they are pretty specific (i.e. tire size, air filter, etc...) so if you upgrade these things you will need a new chip as well.
