I had a Tom Woods Driveshaft on my last TJ. That thing was beefy and never hand any problems with it. Installation on the TJ was just like any other driveshaft. I haven't messed with one on a JK yet though I imagine it to be pretty straight forward.

i agree with the above post

Tom has great customer service, and makes good products, but nothing about them is special

if im ever going to need a driveshaft, im going to make sure that it has a high angle and high strength CV on it, takes big u-joints and the shaft thickness itself be super beefy

who the shaft comes from shouldnt really matter, as long as the price is right and its the right product for your particular application

i had a tom woods front shaft on my YJ and it was great, no complaints

Both shafts on my tj were Woody's...No issues, and great customer service.

It's been said, but Tom Woods has the best customer service of any offroad(or otherwise) business that I have dealt with. I had a CV shaft for my TJ as well and although I did have a little problem, it was fixed quickly with no questions and held up great on the trail.

Yeah - Tom's great...great marketing and service too...no complaints.

The shafts are std pieces though. I know a distributer in the US I can get the same exact shafts, etc from.

BTW - I could set up a group buy if there's enough interest, etc.

I did the whole local shaft maker and got screwed out of a wheeling trip becuase of it. It took them 2.5 weeks to make me a cv shaft for my cj and then still had to wait for other parts ( cv yoke for the tcase ) I told them to stop and order from tom and got it quicker than the local place could if get it. I have order the rest of my driveshaft needs for him and will until other wise which I dont see happening soon
