When my parents got divorced my mom was the smart one w a well paying job so she took the 10 yr old tauras and let him have the new Durango which was what he wanted even though it had a ton of payments left and she bought him out of the house and everything else... He ended up w 200 k in assets and blew all of it within 3 years and moved in w his parents now he has a new wife who pays for his ass... All parents who are thinking of getting divorced or divorced with kids please be civil about it ecspecially in front of the kids .. Don't bad mouth the other one in front of them... It ll mess with the kids mind more than you ll ever know and I ended up in rehab and almost killed my self now I'm a year + sober and ending high school with strong grades all thanks to my mom
And if I ever get married I'm asking for a prenup specifically for the jeep
Rant over lol

I had a very good paying job. Left it due to his jealousy. I worked 12hr shifts, random days, and holidays. So I stated to work with him and his family( they are really great people) we are being very civil about everything. Well at least I am...I know I can take a lot from our 9 yrs.(money wise) except I don't want it to end up In battle. We have a child and he is my priority. I'm sorry to hear how rough it was for you. My son was the reason I stayed but that's never a good reason. We don't argue in front of him.

Guess I'm jaded

Good luck. Like others have said, it's a tough road. In my case I didn't choose it but came out better than ever on the other side.

So as tough as it gets just try and see the light and yes, put your child first!!!

Peace.

It's good to hear you got your life back on track with a better relationship and nice toys. I do wish him well. I see a better future when it comes to my happiness. Someone who will treat me like I should be and not like an object. Thank you for the future out look.

I hate to have to state the obvious, but... perhaps you should sell the malibu and buy a jeep?

Use the Malibu to trade in for a new JK and start from the ground up, considering this to be the end of the old and the beginning of a new, very sweet jeep.
