I want to get a JK around November or December. So if I want to have one at that time when would be a good time to order? Am I looking at around 3 months or is it still more time? So possibly if I ordered early September or late August I may have it at the end of the year?

My dealer is telling me that DC will accept new orders the first week of July, and the production of 08's will begin after they catch up with 07 order's which are beeing rolled into 08's. He speculated a build time of 6 weeks once DC is caught up. Does this seem to be reasonable?? I am waiting right now to place an order, but waitng for the green light. I'm in Canada BTW and have noticed some US JK owners are all ready placing orders?????WTF

 

they started taking '08 orders on June 5th. But maybe it's different up that side of the border.

 

I was going to say the same... I already placed my order, and have an order number in the system. Maybe they are doing things differently up there.

If you want a Rubi, order now. I was given a forecast of a build in early September, with a delivery date in early October. I'd think that with the number of orders likely going and (and '07s being rolled into 08) that the time to order is now...

Unless you really want an '09...

i didnt like the 4 doors at first buy they grew in me thats what i plan on getting

anyway when is it a good time to order? as soon as you got a job, money and a down payment. ASAP because there is a line to stand on.
