I am also in the market for a 4 door Loaded RUBY.. what dealer did you use?.. Im located in South Jersey and Im in no rush to get this
vehicle.. as it will be a play toy... so traveling for a deal.. isnt out of the question for me.. Also.. does anyone know if you have more or
less negotiating power when either ordering one.. or purchasing a new 2012 off the lot?

If i were you i would go on autotrader or cars.com and email a bunch of dealers, let them know what you want, have them compete for your business. You should be able to get a good deal.

There is a 3% dealer holdback so at 1% below they are making 2% on the sale. Expecting much more would put the dealer in the negative unless they are getting additional marketing dollars that is unlikely on a good selling vehicle like the wrangler.
There is so much more builtin profit margins on the over priced jeeps, that the public will never know. Incentives, cash back from the factory on meeting, or exceeding sales quotas in a certain time period. Also a certain percentage of profits from the banks from maximizing A.P.R. ,and life of loan goes to the dealership. All that data goes into what kind of deal you can realize. At the end of the month...to meet or exceed sales quotas, dealers can and will lose money on a unit to capitalize on incentives. More units the dealer moves, the more power the dealer has to order units most popular to sell, and more of them.

X2 on Davids in Glen Mills. I bought my 08 and my 12 from them. Good pricing and their service department is mod friendly. Ask for Scott and tell them Paul with Big Foot (their name for my 08 trade) sent you.

I ordered a JKU Rubi today, Nav, Leather, 4.10, max tow, connectivity group, remote start, loaded up. $4k under MSRP, $1500 under INV (4.15%). Have to get rivals bidding against each other. It can be done any time of year

When i bought my jeep in May, they knocked over $3500 off the sticker. My trade was only worth $6500, but they gave me $10,000 (they started at $5,000). Had I gone in june when they were offering the 0%, they would have given me less than my trade was worth and wouldn't have budged much on the price of the jeep. I financed just over $20k for a $35k jeep. (my trade was already paid off)

Why would you get a worse deal in June?

They wouldn't have given me nearly that amount for my trade, and wouldn't have lowered the price as much on the jeep (cause of the special financing they were/are offering). It may not be like that everywhere, but around here if they offer 0% they don't budge on their first trade offer and don't go much less, if any, than the sticker price on the vehicle. The Toyota dealerships do the same thing around here. They offer 0% but are a pain to haggle with. They figure if u don't buy it, someone else will.
