Default When will the 2012 Wrangler deals begin?

I believe the deals/deep discounts for the 2011 Wranglers began around June 2011 (I might be wrong).

Will this be about the same time next year for getting a really good deal on a new 2012 Wrangler?

Thanks

I see a local dealer here that has $5,000 sticker on their website for a 2012... I don't think they is going t be an issue on getting a good deal!

I am in no way soliciting this dealers site. but just for comparison

I think they exaggerated the msrp on that one but it does look like a good price.

I'm just trying to figure out if Jeep releases their next year's model at about the same time every year.

Historically the best deals are in mid-December and when they are changing model years.

You can get a good deal anytime of year. Just get friends and family pricing. No haggling, just 1% below invoice...

I'm talking about a better than average deal.

Like right now 2011 Wranglers in my area are $4,000-$6,000 off msrp. I can get a Rubicon with the options I want for about $28k. ( nwjeep.com/new-inventory/index.htm?SByear=2011&SBmake=Jeep&SBmodel=Wrangler &SBbodystyle=clear&SBprice=clear )

The deal is, I want to wait 'till about the beginning of summer next year to buy the 2012. I just hope that I'll get just as good of a deal.

From my experience...holidays, Labor Day, New years Eve-day, Fourth of July Memorial Day, etc. A few hours before closing the jeep store ,walk-out... sales will chase you down to trip a car, jeep... even if they are in demand. You will get Your Deal, done deal. At 1% off invoice, sales will sell jeeps all day long, that alone should tell you something.

I am currently shopping for a 2012, and found most dealers are about 2K off. I am in no hurry, and know that I can do much better.

Keep in mind the 2011 deals are because the 2012 is a new engine and they are trying to clear out the 11 inventory. The changes are not expected to be significant for 2013 so you are unlikely to do much better than 1-2% below invoice. On a fully loaded Rubi that can equate to almost 4k off sticker. There is a 3% dealer holdback so at 1% below they are making 2% on the sale. Expecting much more would put the dealer in the negative unless they are getting additional marketing dollars that is unlikely on a good selling vehicle like the wrangler.
