I live in the southern tip of Texas and its hot as hell. The best configuration is doors off with the bikini on. You get the shade from the bikini and a breeze. But even then during the middle of the day it feels like a huge blow dryer blowing at you. The best time to drive is between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM.
With just the top down and doors on the sun just cooks me. With the bikini on and doors on you don't get good airflow and it's hot. You can use the AC, but if your going to do that might as well just put the whole top back on.

We don't have the humidity, but we have the heat, and at altitude, the UV's. The heat does not bother me and I run with the top off. I wear a hat and have plenty of water with me. I also where sunscreen. And yes, I have also ran with the air on from time to time.
My wife can't do that, however. so, I will be getting a sun screen, like the spyderweb one, that fits under the soft top. I guess it's really what a person can tolerate.

I take the doors off and top down every chance I get, but on days like today, everything is buttoned up and the A/C is on full blast.
BTW, remote car starters aren't just for winter. I went out at lunch and turned the A/C on full blast. Then just before heading home I hit the remote starter. It's nice going out to a nice cold Jeep.

108 in Virginia here, at least on the highway. Doors off for a month +, top off for days. The top only goes on if it looks like it will rain, but I dont' bother with the doors. I'll put them on in the winter.

We get up to 52C/125F in the shade during the day and it drops to a cool 40/105 by 3am. I have tried it but it's a bit too hot. Will leave it until it gets below 40/105 during that day again before taking them off again. So for now it is full AC until October.
