So far I average about 30,000 miles a year. I've bought at older civic SI to keep the miles down and honestly the Jeep is more practical than the civic. Possibly becuz its an SI. But I got I it for one hell of a price so I had to get it lol.

Maybe you should do something to the jeep to make you happy with it again. Maybe some 295 and a lil 2.5" lift to make it a little more manly. My wife has a 2013 gc and when i drive it i enjoy it but then i see a jk and wonder why we didnt jump in it.

A beater sounds like a good idea. If i had to drive all of my main cars all the time I would have probally sold everyone one of them in a short while. I have a 6" lifted durmax that I have had for the last 6 yrs and love it to death but I couldnt drive it everyday. Beaters my vote

Bought my wife a 2012 Grand Cherokee last year. I have driven it a few times. It definately does track easier and smoother than my Wrangler. The 3.6 in it gets much better MPG than a 6.1 of course.
I would use it if I had to commute long distance but otherwise it is very boring. Thank goodness I live 8 miles from work.
