Default Wheel lugs lossen themselves

Hs anyone else had this problem?? I rotated my tires about a month ago and all the lugs were tight, trust me. But yesterday I kept hearing this clunking noise from the rear but I couldn't figure it out. Finally I realized it was the part I should have checked 1st, every bolt on my back right tire was about 3mm from coming off

sounds like that wheel might have been a little cocked when it was tightened down did you torque the lug nuts to spec

Never herd of this on cars myself but I used to work for a Master Craft boat dealer and they had isues with wheels falling off on new boats, and it turned out to be paint on the hubs. The cure was to remove wheels and scrape of all paint & rust on wheel mating surface and re-torque wheels. Don't know if this your problem or not but may not hurt to check.

aluminum wheels need to be retightend after you have initaily torqueds them. If they were aluminum...
that did happen to me, had to replace 4 bent lugs and still have different lug nuts all over

After I put my BB on and drive my JKU about 60 miles or so I heard a clunking noise from front drivers side. After a thorough inspection of front end, I noticed it was my lugs that came loose (4 out of 5).... People "say" it's not possible, but I call BS on that cause it happened to me....

I had a slightly bent rim. Caused them to back off twice. Didn't even know the rim was bent.

Re-torque your lugs after a couple days. Then do it again after a week or so.

If you have aftermarket wheels, the lug nuts may not match.

This happened to me as well, it was a good 1500 miles after rotation. All lugs on drivers wheel were loose.
