On my wheels (Procomp 7089s), none of my tools would fit into the hole with the larger lugs. I had to buy a new wrench that would fit into the lug nut recess, and that meant that my stock tire wrench, 3/4"-drive, 1/2"-drive, 3/8"-drive, crossbar tire wrench and all of my impact tool sockets were useless with the Gorillas. When one of the lugnuts stripped while rotating the tires, I cussed them all, and pulled them off of my JK. A few others on here have complained about the Gorillas stripping out too easily, too.

Yes, the Mopars are a little longer than the stock lugs, which seems odd. But I guess I'm just not worried about that. BTW: They are McGards, I lost the socket (when I had the Gorillas on) and McGard sent me a replacement (cost me about $20 IIRC).

I guess that, bottom line, with a reasonably well-equipped shop/garage, I wasn't too pleased that none of my existing tools would fit.

I found mine on Ebay. Check this Item number: 400072602040. They are from Mopar, a set of five and they give you peace of mind.

I bought a set of 24 Gorillas from Discount Tire.

Enough for all 4 wheels, 3 studs on the spare, and a spare!

Price was very reasonable.

I got Gorillas from America's Tire Center. They only had packs of 4. When I told the guy I needed 5, he gave me another set for free.

Close, but you must have overlooked the splitter tail pipes. It's a 10th Anniversary Edition Trans Am. 49K miles on it, and the only automatic I've ever owned ...

I had the good fortune to buy it twice. First time brand new. My ex got it in the divorce. Second time in the early 80s, when my ex was headed to Japan. She couldn't take it, so she sold it to me for a decent price. Her new husband's assignment ended up being canceled, so she wanted it back, but I told her no.

Don't let go of her. I think they only made about 7000 of those 10th anniversary models.

Are those pics recent? Or were they taken when the car was new?
