Soldering iron, solder, copper wire, and an inverter. I sucked up water on the trail the ripped a plug wire trying to get the plugs out. My friend had all the supply's needed to make me a new plug wire on the trail!

another off road capable vehicle, with a friend inside of course. Winch remote, and tow strap! I had a friend who forgot to pack his winch remote a while ago. Luckily no one was stuck...

The recovery bag and medic bag are always in the Jeep so I add the chain saw for wheeling. At 12,000' there are frequently down trees over the trail that can' t be winched.

12000' ? What is the tree line at? For some reason I thought it was at about 10k. Maybe it varies in different areas. I think the highest elevation we have here in all of LA is about 40'. It could be more if you want to count the MS river bridge.

I carry everything from JB Weld to coil spring compressors which have come in handy several times.
