Default What's the tool or item you never go off road without?

I did a quick search and did not see this asked yet.

What do you have in your tool kit? The one you keep in the Jeep and never go trail riding without.
And maybe seperately. What do you have in that big tub of off roading stuff? You know, it's not always in the Jeep but when you're gonna be on the trails, you make sure to pack it along.

For me, Tool kit: of course the usual screw drivers, pliers, utility knife, zip ties, socket set, wheel lock socket, duct tape, and added this last week (cause we need it on a recent ride) a small hack saw, and safety pliers (with a small spool of wire).

Off road tub: tow straps, shackels, tree savers, extra bungees, toilet paper (can become a woman's best friend having this), cane knife, sledge hammer-2lb, mini-air compressor and tire plug kit, cam buckle straps, jumper cables, receiver pin, extra leather gloves, and a rain parka.

I guess what I'm really looking for here is that item you needed once and now have in either of these kits. Like us last weekend needing to cut a crimped joint from a metal transmission line (hack saw) without crushing it and attaching (for a trail fix) the rubber hose to it (safety pliers and wire). Hey it got him off the trail and back home 2 hours away.

tools, recovery gear, all the usual stuff , but I just purchased a 36MM socket for the axle nut. After seeing what can happen to axle u-joints and yokes I will carry this on outings "just in case" . If I break I will be able to remove it on the trail
