what are your thoughts on Commando green on the 2013 rubicon
am looking to trade in my 2 door natural green 2011 rubicon for a 2013 commando green 2 door rubicon. what do you guys think if commando green. it sure is lighter than the natural green pearl coat i have now.

The commando green jeep at the dealership is what peaked my interest in jeep shopping this year. Of course I didn't like the price, so I ended up with a yellow 2008 2 door rubicon!

Well up until now my favorite was Deep cherry Red, but I saw a 2013 Commando Green JKU Rubi at the dealership and my 2012 Deep Cherry Red Sport received the boot the very next day. Dealership gave me an excellent trade in and let me transfer all my addons(free of charge) to the Rubi, except of course , the lift, wheels, and 35" Pro Comp MTII's. Miffed about that but VERY HAPPY with my new RUBICOMM!

One other thing; I have owned Jeeps in Blue, Red, Black, and now Green. They all looked good! Hey its a Jeep right? This shade of green just seems a natural to me probably because I am of an era where in the military the M151A1(Jeep), was the work horse and it came in OD Green or Woodland Camo.

I wasn't sure on what color to get for my new jeep until I had seen CG. Sold! I couldn't wait. This color grows on me every day and I'm always receiving compliments on the color choice. If you don't like compliments on your color choice then don't get one with CG. Wait kind of sounds like a satellite commercial lol.

I had spent lots of time researching all the different colors and really had my mind set on white until I walked in the door of the dealership and saw a Commando Green JKU sitting on the lot.
Threw my hands in the air and said "we'll that settles it, we're getting Commando green". No question when I saw it up close.
Fast forward 5 months, now I have taken delivery of my nice new 2013 JKUR, and I find myself strategically sitting in a very uncomfortable spot at the breakfast table every day, just trying to catch the morning sunrise off the bodywork, and watch how the color changes as different light hits it through the day... Might need to take out a wall to make the view easier.. getting a sore neck
