What is Your Cheapest Jeep Upgrade?

Yes lightly with a fine sanding pad/block. There are a bunch of write ups on wheel painting on here. Taping off the wheels was the most time consuming part. I liked the color and light texture of the hammered black paint. Kinda came out charcoal gray. I painted some old trailer wheels first to see how it looked.

Bought a tray for the top of the center of my dash.
Bought a Chrysler microphone to enable the handsfree phone (then realized that the wind noise makes it nearly impossible for the other person to hear me).
Made a mount for my trailer brake controller on top of the dash (above the instrument cluster).
Made some real arm rests for those doors.
Made a soft vinyl slip-on cover for the center console.
Made a set of four "oh shoot" handles.
Drilled out and replaced those fake screws around the stick shift boot with real screws.
Bought a better set of hood hold-downs that have stopped the hood "flutter."
Bought a monthly plan (unlimited washes) at on of the local full-service car washes.
Cleaned out half of the garage so I can park inside (for the first winter in seven years).

I'm not sure if this falls under the "cheap" category....but I feel the Rugged Ridge soft top boot was a very worth while mod for me. $50.
I usually keep my soft top on and put the hard top on over it in the winter. The boot helps protect it when I'm sliding things in and out of the rear. (kind of like condom, now that I worded it like that) When I'm riding with the soft top in the summer, it keeps the soft top from flapping around and protects the inside white material protected from dirt and such.
