Default What Would You Do?

I have a brand new (in the box) T.F. 2.5" coil lift W/shocks that I bought a few months ago when I was saving $ to put 33's on.

Now that I have the $ I want 35's

Should I keep this lift as is?

Should I add spacers to give me a little more room for 35's?

Should I sell it and get the 3" lift?.

Either way you're looking at spending more money. What it boils down to is how much more you willing to spend and/or do you like the look of a JK that has a body lift.

Me personally I'd go with a larger coil lift. Unfortunately you're going to take a hit on the lift you bought, unless you got a really good deal or you can sell to someone who doesnt know otherwise.

I think I am getting Shrockworks rails for X-Mas so the body lift is out unless I want the space between.

i have the 2.5 coil...i'm just gonna do what everyone is suggesting and add 1" BL and then get some 35's under there....tho i'm sure they would probably fit even without the BL

Why not spacers? 1.75" Rubicon spacers less than $150 for 4.

depending on the tires you go with, get the spacers and 35's. I say depending on the tires because many are considered 35's, but are really 34.6 or so, these will have no issue fitting as long as you have the spacers. If they are on the tall side (35.4") then you may have some minor rubbing issues, though only at full flex. Personally I'm not a big fan of body lifts as I don't think they look good and can be a bit of a pain depending on the transmission you have. The 2.5" with spings measures a little taller than 2.5" so I'd say just get spacers and you are good to go.

The combo of the spacers, the BL and the 2.5 is decent. A cheap way to do it, no drivetrain changes to worry about.

A 4in is nice, but you're not going to get what you paid when you resell your lift. You'll be fine with the 2.5in coil, 1inBL and spacers.

Cheers.
