What would you do with $30K?

No, I did not do the lift. It was installed at the dealer where I bought the Jeep. Zone 4". Clearance has not been an issue under regular driving.
Thanks!!!!

The reason you should not get a 2011 is that I dont think you can get it at enough of a discount to make it worth while. The engine is a game changer -Just my HO.

Lots of misinformation in here. The Rubicon has the same suspension as a Sport/X/Sahara, with some minor differences in spring rates, depending on tow package, hardtop, etc. . The Rubicon just has a 4:1 lo range and D44 axles with lockers. The '07-'10 models are all the same, with a few minor differences(soft top, sunvisors, center console tray, etc, which can be retrofitted to '07/08 models for cheap). An '07/'08 is the same as an '09/'10. The '11 still wouldn't be a bad deal, because it has the updated interior, that IMO is more user friendly as a daily driver.
You don't NEED a front driveshaft on an '07-'11, but it is recommended at some point. My jk is lifted 4" and has been since 7k miles, I have 50k on it now and the same stock shaft is still there, but with some play at the repezza joint. 43k miles is a long time.
It really depends on how extreme you plan on going. If 35", maybe 37" tires is all you ever plan to do, the Rubi would be great. An X or Sahara or Sport would be good for 35" tires. If you plan 37" + tires and some hardcore trails, maybe a Sport/X/Sahara with some aftermarket axles(Dynatrac, Currie, etc) would be a good starting point, that way you aren't buying a Rubi and then pulling the Rubi hard parts off.
