Mine is set at 15 with windows rolled up. 20 if I really like the song...With all the windows down & just the front top panels off the radio is set to 20 then 25 if the tunes are great....

I like my music loud sometimes...there are a couple of tunes on some of the Ipod playlists that I frequently listen to that just BEG to be played loud.

Some people just don't seem to recognize the symptoms of a speaker or amp being driven past it's "comfort" zone - and likewise don't seem to mind the distortion that comes with it. I guess I spent too much time in my teens playing music and setting up PA systems. I learned what the limits of a sound system "sound" like.

That's exactly it. I don't know how anyone can stand it at that point. I actually had to leave a local concert one time because they had it cranked so loud way beyond the speakers capacity you couldn't even pick out the words to the song and it was country music....

Like I said before I really like loud but I like it to sound good not distorted.

mine used to be set at 20 and it was blaring, but when i played a cd it used to crackle REALLY bad....so i had the amp flashed and now i play it anywhere from 25 to max...much cleaner sound from the amp after the flash though
