what is ur favorite jeep and why?

X2 - Mine was an "84" owned it for four years and would have kept it longer except the damn engine keep blowing manifold gaskets. Now that I'm getting to be an old man with kids and dog the JK works WAY better. Plus JK has the great sound system that my CJ could never come close to having, that was another thing that used to Bug me. But still that CJ was a GAS!

I love my JK and everything I'm doing to it [mod wise] is all custom, so it's truly my unique Jeep. I've also tackled some very gnarly stuff with it. However, I still baby it sometimes.
I use to have a TJ all modded out. I was not afraid to beat that thing up. It would run in the harshest conditions. Maybe b/c I was younger and foolish when I had the TJ so I didn't care so much about body damage or tipping, but that thing was a warrior -- stolen a couple years ago in Phoenix. Insurance helped me get the JK.

Being this is my first and only Jeep, I dont really have anything to compare it with other than older 4X s from other manufacturers.
I love it and keep wondering why I waited so long to get one.

I voted CJ not only because I still think they were the best looking, but because it was my "era". Learned to drive in a CJ5. Went everywhere and did everything in a CJ5. Was always goin' somewhere or doing somethin' in a CJ5. Just TONS of GREAT old memories in a CJ5. I guess that's why I still own one....!!!

I loved my CJ, but was constantly dumping money into it to keep it running. It also started my love of jeeps, but my Jk can fit the family and is way more capable than the CJ. I do really miss the CJ dash.
