I get about 220 miles to a tank with my mods. I don't mind though, because that is almost as many miles to a tamk as I was getting with my TJ runing 31" tires.

I had E-Rated 33X12.5 MT MTZ's and 2.5" spring lift last summer, it gave me dismal milage (12-13 mpg city) and never being able to get out of the city I went back to stock (at least until warrenty is up in fall 2012)
With no lift and original tires, I am getting a much better 17.5-19 MPG (13-13.4 L/100KM) in normal city driving again. I havn't filled the tank since Feb 18th!.
I have a 2000 mile roadtrip comming up in just over a week, so I am looking forward to gettng some real data.

I don't know how some people get such good mileage. I've never heard a vehicle getting better mpg then rated on the window sticker, but it seems like plenty of people do. Personally I average anywhere from 13.5 - 14.5 on an unlimited x. I was around 15 stock and the tires, cragars, bumper, winch etc cost me about 1.5 mpg. I've never minded because that seems to be right about whee I expected it. These people clocking in 18-20mpg though, I don't understand it.

These ratings are always a bit questionable... I got about 24mpg with Lancer GTS rated at like 30mpg, got 31 or so with my Grand Prix GT2 which was rated for like 27 or soemthing like that, got about 12mpg with my TJ.

At least in my case........i think my constant 20+mpg is due to my stock 225 tires and 3.21 gears. I'm sure once I go bigger I will have to then regear and it will all go to hell.........but for now I'm gonna be happy with getting 350+ miles out of each tank.
I'll think of it as a way to save money towards buying big tires and then pissing it all away once they are installed

Mine did that at first too, give it a little time to break in and your fuel economy should get better. One thing I noticed about the JK's at least on the highway is the harder you drive it the better the fuel economy. In my experience the sweetspot is about 115 - 120 kmp/h, thats where it seems to suck up less fuel. I had it up to 145 for 10 or 15 minutes a couple of times but i'd say it was guzzling the gas at that point. When it comes to any city driving dont expect much in regards to fuel economy, I get about 475 km's to a tank in the city, sometimes more sometimes less.

When i'm out on the highway I drive mine like its a racecar too. Damn thing feels like one when i've got the cruise at 120 kmp/h and hit some turns, it almost feels like its drifting haha
