Angry What the... Someone broke into the Jeep!

Get this... In the morning we find the rear soft-top window is missing. Upon closer inspection, I find that it's been un-zipped and pushed inside, and someone started taking down the dog net, and then gave up. I can at least be thankful that 1) they un-zipped the window instead of slashing it, and 2) they undid the straps on the net instead of cutting them. Of course we have a Tuffy console insert, glove box, etc., and the HU faceplate was removed, so I've no idea what they were after, if anything.

So now it looks like I'll be installing that EVS I upgrade.

That really sucks! BUt at least they didnt destroy anything in the process. My buddy's TJ was broken into several times at work and everytime they slashed the windows and caused more damage then what they stole

Wow, that sucks sorry to hear about it. A few years ago my TJ was broken into, it had a soft top, but unfortunately they popped the door lock and damaged the sheet metal. They stole a jacket and a "Mad Bomber" fur lined hat. I really had wished they used the zippers, a-holes all of them.

Hm. Maybe. There's nothing else in the Jeep. It's bare. Well, except for a few things under the seat. :-) I don't even think they made it out of the back past the dog net -- only the top straps were un-done.

That sucks. When I had my TJ someone broke into it 1 night when I had the top off and stole my ash tray with about $2 in change in it. A $25 ash tray for $2 worth of change kinda pissed me off. Its good they didn't cause any damage for you.

Bummer to hear that someone got in your Jeep. That is always a disturbing feeling. They probably saw all of the Tuffy products and decided to move on to easier pickings.
