2 Tuned Mustangs and an Infiniti G37 before this JK....I'm so happy to not have to run high end gas anymore!! 
Growing up my dad would tell me, 87 for around town and 91+ for long trips. Then one day I was watching a rained out Nascar race and they were interviewing the drivers asking them what they run in their own vehicles. EVERY one of them said they run what the manual says to run, nothing more. I figured these guys are professionals, so I'll do the same.

Your 91 octane post was a little misleading to me.
I had a chance to run 91 ethanol-free and I saw difference is performance and gas mileage.
