Wish I was in the area, had I seen it in time and been in the area, I'd of come pulled you out for sure so you didn't sit in it all night.
And yes, I have my snorkel for just such "accidents." And based on your picture, my snorkel would still be well clear of the water.
This is a reminder, if you play around in or even just near deep stuff, a snorkel is a GREAT investment. Especially if you're unsure of depth.
