i would definitely try to get all of your aftermarket parts off b4 insurance gets hold of it. unless you have specifically told them about those parts they won't cover anything beyond what was the stock vehicle. once they take it they don't let you get anything off of the vehicle. my insurance sends out a form every year with the renewal notice asking me to list any aftermarket parts that i expect to be covered so that they will cover them. for future reference that would be a good idea to discuss with your insurance for your next bright shiny new jeep. as far as covering the accident, that's what insurance is for, covering stupid mistakes made by you or others, so they will cover it just probably not for as much as you hope for.
