Wow! Some of you guys have gotten great rates! I need to start shopping around, but the lowest I've seen advertised on local credit union sites is 6.95% for 60 months. I'm hoping to get lower than that! *fingers crossed*

Yeah you really need to. I knew my work had a credit union, but i honestly paid no attention to it until i strated looking around. The credit union here is a small employee (and retiree) only one. The board and officers are all volunteer and they have zero overhead, so the rates are very, very good. Check your work, if your gov't check them. Do alot of asking around, that is how i found my rate. The rate is actually 4.0% base, it goes up based on your credit rating. Mine was pretty good, but not stellar due to a divorce from the past that left me bankrupt. So i ended up paying another half a percentage point.

I got 1.49% used car loan, 5 years Pentagon Federal (PenFed) credit union. One of the best used car loan rates I've seen atleast

Surprised no one has posted any 0% on new loans

2.99 for 60. My bank gave me the best rate, and financed my previous JK through them before.
