What gas do you use 87, 89, 93 ?

87. I've heard somewhere on here that running higher octane gas for extended periods can actually harm your JK. Although there is not much fact behind the story.

The manual recommends 87.

no reason to use anything other than...

87 (or 85 in high elevations)

even says so in the manual.

anyone know why 85 octane is what works in higher altitude?

originally from chicago, now in CO for a few years and every station carries the previously mentioned grades...

Looks like almost everyone, including myself, is running 87/85.

Instead of a list of 87s, let’s have anyone who runs higher than that post why you’re doing so.

It depends on the tune I'm running with my Flashpaq.
