I just found out I will be able to get my JK at 1% below invoice. Is it kind of safe to think that invoice is about 2000-2500 below the sticker price? Just trying to get a feel for what the price will be.
Thanks all,
Bryan

from Iraq...
I purchased a 2 dr Black Rubicon with both tops, power convenience group, full doors, side air bags, smoker's group, floor mats & locking fuel cap for $26055 though AAFES. There was a $1600 rebate for this model, plus some other incentives for the military. I had this on order since July, won't be picking it up till late December - early January since I'm still in Iraq.....

Well......I had one a few weeks ago for invoice, but couldn't pull the trigger, didn't really like the color, and I was still between the JK and a Tacoma. Now I definitely want a JK, and there were 2 in stock in Charleston that I wanted.
The saleman I have been working with has been easy to work with, knows that I have researched this vehicle quite a bit, and knows what I am willing to spend. I have a Sales Manager agree to roughly about $250 over invoice, a bit more than what I was looking at before but tolerable. Note this is a SALES MANAGER that gives me this price, so I had to run home for a bit, but said I would be back this afternoon to get it. Well apparently, the boss had a different idea, and told the sales manager and my salesperson that price won't work.
So basically I have the salesman and Sales Manager saying this is bulls**t and that it makes them look stupid. All this over about $400, I mean is it worth $400 to make your dealership look this stupid and infighting between your sales managers? I know there are dealers out there, is this some tactic, because if it is, it's idiotic, because frankly, I could careless about the $400 it's just that they are changing their minds constantly and renigging on prices.
Anyways, thats my $.02, I have off my soapbox, oh and the vehicle was a Unlimited X, 24S, Power, Towing, Locking Rear Diff
