I got the dealer agreement to give me his invoice price... and I wasn't even ready to buy...

If they ask for more than the invoice just go to a different dealer.

I work at the dealership and was able to get my unlimited for invoice minus half of dlr hold back and another 600 off that since we are 5 star. Msrp $28870 my price $25,670. I know not everyone can get ths type of deal but average markup is about $2,000. So shop around for someone to get you 2k off. Most dealers will be happy for the sale and still get abou $800 hold back.

These prices are a lot less than what I'm getting from the Jeep website. Very promising...

Ordered mine yesterday

ulimited rubicon
automatic
power convenience group
towing package
floor mats
6 disc in dash cd changer

msrp was $31,140
I'm paying $28,599 which is right around invoice.

The salesman i talked to said if i ordered it he would sell it to me for invoice, out of all the other dealers i went to, nobody else came out front and said that, so i ordered it from them.

2 dr Rubicon Silver, freedom top, power package, 6spd, 6disc changer, tow package, floor mats and mud mats. Sticker was 29,075, I paid 28,300 cash out the door with taxes tags and title. And this was almost three weeks ago when noone had any! It basically worked out to be 150 over invoice. Bought form a dealer almost 2 hours away. my local dealer, told me straight sticker for the next couple of months, even after I paid cash for a 300c SRT8 earlier this year. Idiots called me earlier this week to say they had one coming in just like I wanted and would sell it to me for 500 over invoice! Told them they lost the sale two weeks ago! Just remember, some will pay more, some will pay less, depends on the needs/wants of the buyer, and the motivation of the dealer to sell! If you get a deal you are happy with, GREAT! Just don't stress if someone got a better deal then you. I got my SRT well under invoice, when most dealers were still charging a BS "adjusted Market Value" I simply had a number in my head, and held to it. Sooner or later I found a dealer that wanted to sell a car at what I wanted to pay. With my JK I had a number in my head, and a trade-in 2001 Sahara, they not only came to the number I wanted, they gave me more in trade then I expected, easiest descision I had to make!

$22,300 for a 2dr X with 's' package, automatic, rear limited slip, dual top, and 17" rims with P255's. Maybe not the best deal out there but I'm happy.
I'm getting it through military sales here on Okinawa.
