What does "It's A Jeep Thing" mean to you?

this is my first jeep, and I've only had it for about 6 months. I drove a dodge dakota before that. I find that the jeeps have a character, that you can make them your own, the interaction between man and machine, its not just some mindless people carrier, I have a smile on my face everytime I drive it or even just see it parked in the driveway. Not to mention the whole new world it has opened up to me, great experiances, great new friends, etc. Most other people think i'm odd for "obsessing" over the jeep all the time, but it really is just "a jeep thing" that most dont understand.
it's the first vehicule i owned that give my this feeling and freedom. IMHO not even a supercar can compete with the jeep thing !!!
the closest i get is in my '84 SJ-410 and it's far from the Jeep

leaving a pile of tops, doors and back seats in the garage and replacing them with dirt, mud and leaves.
getting refused at the car-wash
taking a drill, grinder, and reciprocating saw to brand new vehicle.
when friends ask "do you know that guy" when I excange a wave, being able to answer "no, but I consider him a friend"
and having completely random people approach you wherever you are to ask you where you got you're ________, or simply to complement!

To me "It's a Jeep thing" means...
Being able to break down and know that when another Wrangler comes up on the road they'll stop to help me and I'll do the same.
Knowing that I can go places no car can
Being the only "SUV" to actually go topless
Being the only 4 wheeled vehicle to be able to drive without doors and still be 50 state legal
Knowing that my little six cylinder isn't the fastest thing on the road but she runs real good in the dirt.
Being able to just sit and chuckle while people stare at me in my naked Jeep when its freezing at night
I know more about my Jeep than the dealership does
I know that Enzo Ferrari himself said that Jeep Wranglers are the only true "sportscars" to come out of America
Knowing that even though I don't have power windows, power locks, climate control, heated seats, Bose surround sound system, leather trim, more bells and whistles than humanly imaginable... I still have more fun than anybody in any other car... because I own a Jeep and its not just a vehicle it's a lifestyle.

to me, its all of the above.... Its a jeep thing is not a thing its a lifestyle... This is my first wrangler but my 12th jeep... and i tell you... talk about having the bug bad... The jeep is my daily driver/exploration/fun toy... where else can you get everything in one vehicle...
