Multiple purposes, in this order...
1st, Hobby as in building, fixing, whatever. I spend EVERY saturday all day in my garage. Got radio, TV, and a kegerator. So I'm all set
2nd, Daily driver, 30 miles each way to/from work.
3rd, Wheeler. Mostly rocks at URE, sometimes local muddy powerline trails
4th, to insure I don't stay married for too long.

MUDDING... imo you have to hate your truck to go mudding, cause you can never get it all out and it just causes rust.

rock crawler - crawled Moab UT, Harlan KY, The Cove TN, all over MI
boat hauler

Showing off (charity events, local parades, etc)
giving the wifey something to nag about

pulled/winched out a stuck snow plow truck.
Pulled out of a ditch a stranded mini van.
tows my 17' ski boat.
towed (stretched capabilities) my Ford 1520 tractor on 10k car hauler trailer to cut trails at deer camp an hour away - guessing I was towing 6500 lbs. Done it 3 times with ease. My AEV coils and bumper hitch receiver amazed me.. I don't do this anymore now that I have a new GMC tow vehicle.
Ripped a tree trunk out.
Raccoons partied in it one night when left out with top off.
