What to do?
I finally have permision to spend more money from the wife for a new front bumper.
Only thing is there is a limit, and so I can get the AEV bumper and skid i really want, but she hasn't budgeted in a winch. I would go this way if it didn't mean that when I can get a winch I would need to uninstall and reinstall the bumper all over again. The other option I was looking at is the Expedition One basic with the side wings and a winch, and then sell it down the road when I get the AEV bumper. I am just torn as to which I should do, so which route would you go?

Thats easy, if you buy the expedition bumper, you have to remove it down the road AND go through the hassle of selling it, then buy the AEV bumper and install it. Isnt that more of a hassle than buying the AEV bumper up front, then remove it to install winch?
Plus you get the bumper you really want first time around by going straight for the AEV bumper.

Thanks for reaffirming what I was thinking I would do all along. Maybe I can convince my wife to do a winch to since they are $950 for the 9.5ti at the moment from Northridge. I know how she feels about getting a bargain.

Get the one you really want first time around. I like the look of the AEV. I just can't fathom spending the money on it even though I can afford it. Went with the LoD mid-width that just delivered yesterday.

if you were at all interested in the Rugged Ridge XHD bumpers CSE is selling them cheap on EBAY right now... a couple people have ordered them and love them... mine should be in today or tomorrow... got the stubby with end caps and hoop for 499.95 shipped to my door... go to Ebay and type in "XHD Bumper"

I agree its all about what you like because if you settle for something less than you want than half the time it costs more in the end... I was just fortunate and found the bumper i wanted for about $300 less than it would have cost... cant wait for my XHD
