I'm curious which colors of the current Wrangler lineup will last the longest without fading or oxidation?
Do all the colors have a clearcoat or UV protection?
A friend of mine is wanting red and i've been wanting black but we both want to keep these for 10+ years and want them to look good for as long as possible.

Couldn't tell ya what color will last the longest but Black in Phoniex is asking for heartburn. I lived in Vegas and had 2 black vehicles and the paint looked like shit after one summer.

Red and blue tend to fade pretty well from what I have seen.
I would say you'ld be more safe with lighter colors like yellow or white.
It will still fade, it just won't be as easy to see.
The only thing is, if you go wheelin' you're probably gonna end up scratching
the crap out of it any way, so you're better off getting a color that you will be
happy with for the next 10 + years.
Don't worry about fade because you can always get it buffed out or repainted.

Yup, gotta go with white. I am native to Arizona, and spent some time working in the exposure lab at the AZ Toyota Proving grounds, the sun is brutal!

Well if I go black, do you think it'll last ok if I get it waxed every year or so and give it monthly washes?
Anyone else in AZ with black jeeps have any issues with fading/oxidizing?
I guess my 2nd choice would be silver but i dunno... i love how black looks.

The urethane topcoat is the same, regardless of color chosen. However the topcoat (clearcoat) will age much faster depending on the amount of sunlight ABSORBED. The darker the color, the more sunlight will afect the longevity of the paint. A light pastel color would probably be your best bet, as they tend to reflect a large amount of sunlight ( silver included).
