Have a black and boyyyy does every single scratch stand out like a sore thumb! Also super hard to keep clean especially in Canadian winters...
On the plus side, pretty much all parts will be a good color match.

At the end of the day get the color you like the best. Black, silver and white are the norm but if you're tastes gravitate towards red go for it.
Personally, I went with Granite Crystal. It's dark enough to satisfy my taste for classic black but it's light enough to hold me over on my favorite color, silver metallic.

I chose the granite crystal metallic for my JKU and I have custom orange on my cj7. I almost went with copperhead pearl on my JKU but on the way to the dealership to place my order, I saw a Chrysler minivan in the copperhead pearl color and it was a total wet blanket. I'm very happy with the gcm tho
