I have had different results than people here. I could never get the wet out. it would always come back to the surface and hide in the middle of the foam. Was like that for years with my TJ. I never got mold though.

do anyone elses seats smell weird, not like mildew, just weird, when they get wet?

At least with the TJ's, you could unzip the factory seat covers and take them off. It was great for cleaning them, and drying them out...both the covers and the insides. Jeep is really getting away from a lot of things they used to offer as standard equipment in the interest of "changing with the times" or "progress".
