Wet Okole Color Choice With Silver JK
Folks,
I'm thinking of getting Wet Okole seat covers from my 4-door JK.
It's silver.
I was thinking of the standard black seat with either
Light Grey
Or Charcoal
as the insert color.
Anybody have any opinions (or pictures) about what color I should get?

I have solid Black with full piping in Grey.... keep in mind that the colors will fade eventually over the years. I have had mine for a year and a half now and only minor fading can be seen on the Black. Make sure you use the UV protectant that they sell frequently to preserve the life of the color.. I don't have any pics of my covers but if you need one I would be so kind to in a day or so.

That looks great!
Do you like the seat covers?
Do they get too hot?
How's the water "resistance"? One of the reasons I'm looking at them is to keep the seats from getting soaked when I get caught in the rain without my doors.

OK for water repellancy you need to look at what your "definition" is....Here is what I mean...Neoprene will keep your OEM seat fabric dry from rain showers (the very back might where the top and bottom portions of the seat join but even there it won't get sopping wet). Neoprene, or the fabric on top of it--the grey and black and any padding, will get your butt wet when you sit on it. You can't just wipe off the water like you can on some of the other options...do a search for Iggee. Now, you can spray stuff on to the covers to make them sort of resistant like Scotchguard or some similar product. Now, just my two cents, figure out just what you want to do...because getting the Neoprene and then spending the extra money on Scotchguard every month ...I just have a problem spending that much money on something that I then have to modify. My personal money threshold is about $100...anything over should work the way I want it to right out of the box. If you want to wipe and sit dry then Igges or something similar is what you are looking for. If you want to keep your seats dry and have the fabric look then Neoprene (then you just have to figure out a vendor) is the way to go. If you go with Neoprene and judging by the feedback on this forum, just remember you get the quality your price demands. In other words the more expensive the better the cover. Let us know what you go with and good luck
