Well my story is that driving with the window down and while I'm holding on to the roll bar a bee flew right into my arm pit down my shirt and yes he stung me in the back of my tricep as I tried to maneuver the JK to a safe place to stop...

dang, insects are sick!
I had mini clear/white spiders in my Jeep on occassion. I also had a huge brown spider make a house near my spare tire on the outside. Once, when I had my doors off I had a bee fly onto my front passenger seat while driving and it stung the seat and died.
Lastly I had a Cicada (sp?) fly into my Jeep with a bunch of my buddies. Jeep was enclosed and everyone in the rear seats were freaking out. I had to pull over to throw it out. They make that nasty vibrating noise.
Those are all my bug encounters to date.

left the top down over night for the first time ever, and came out the next day to see a monster bird shit right ded center of the passanger seat.... i intentionally parked away from a tree to prevent that. now you know why I mounted a 30 cal on the roof with a AA sight. see the bastard try it now

those mini clear/white spiders are most likely baby spiders... be REALLY careful around them as they can be just as venomous as their parents, but lack the warning markings adults can have, i.e. black widow babies are clear, just as posionus but not large hour glass to warn you....

I've had the top down for about 2 weeks, and needed to put it up yesterday. When I did I found one of the mud/tube style wasp nest in the soft top. (built into the underside of the canvas) Thank god they were out and about and I got it removed, but I'm just wondering if you guys have had similar issues? I've not seen any other nest nearby to get rid of, but I have been fishing alot at the local dam and there's a lot of bugs out there.
