X2

If you file a formal complaint against a dealership through Chrysler, it's not kept confidential and dealer will know your name and info. They can then flag your VIN to deny the warranty at ANY dealership if your jeep is modded. There is a sticky on here that wayoflife (Lance, I believe) started about this very thing. It happened to him and sounded like a royal PITA.

My local dealership (Sternberg Chrysler - Jasper, In) doesn't believe in customer service as well. My experience with them has been nothing but negative. I have since decided to not give them my money and drive 35 mins to the next dealer instead of 10 to them.

***EDIT***

Here is the thread I was referring to.

^^ Above ^^^

I appreciate the input. This is one more reason why I'm patient with holding off my mods. I'm having a blast with the stock jeep I have and don't have a reason to take the parts off that I'm still paying for. Some day I'll put the right lift and tires on it, but as we say in the medical field "cover your ass." I knew the day I bought it that they would try to use mods against me so why screw up the one chance Chrysler is giving me to have my equipment covered?

I noticed a fine spray of oil on my hood a couple of weeks ago, and the same symptoms as yours around the pump... the dealer just replaced the pump today with no problems.

My 07 had a small PS leak from the first month. I had a small crack in the power steering resevoir. I took it to the dealer so they could tell me it was a crack, they had to order it. I talked them into mailing it to me so I could install it and send them the old one. Saved me a 60 mile drive to the shop.
