Want opinion on best 2.5-3" lift for the money
I havent seen many 3" lifts except teraflex......most are 3.5" Other than going with a lower gear, will you have to change anything else with a 3.5" lift?
Also, post a link or name of the best lift for the money, not going over a 3.5" lift... and I dont want to pay 3K either lol. Best lift for the $$ for a daily driver and some light to moderate trailing... I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and it break!

Any lift kit you buy will require you to get new and longer shocks, the only way to bypass that issue is to buy the shock extenders from Teraflex and still us the factory shocks.. You can also buy the Old Man Emu (OME) Heavy Duty lift kit that will give you a three inch lift. Most lifts you buy that are 2.5 will give you closer to three inch lift over all.
You don't have to get the control arms right away, you can buy a basic lift like this one first and as you progress you can buy all extras.

I just bought a Rock Krawler 3.5 w/ Bilstien 5100 shocks. Came out to just under $1400 all tolled. For the price it's pretty complete. Corrects steering geometry and I've been told that driveline upgrades won't be needed on the '12 I'm ordering. They make the same exact lift in 2.5" as well.
